Correct Answer: 96 cm 2

Solution : We have,
The perimeter, height, and the adjacent side of a parallelogram are 48 cm, 6 cm, and 8 cm.
Perimeter of a parallelogram = 2 (Adjacent side + Base)
⇒ 48 = 2 (8 + Base)
Or, base = 16 cm
We know, Area = Base × Height
So, Area = 16 cm × 6 cm = 96 cm 2
So, the area of the parallelogram is 96 cm 2 .
Hence, the correct answer is 96 cm 2 .
