Question : The pie chart given below shows the number of mobile phones sold by six companies in a year. The total number of mobile phones sold by six companies is 500. Number of mobile phones sold by a particular company is shown as a percentage of total number of mobile phones sold by all these six companies.
 
What is the ratio of the number of mobile phones sold by C to the number of mobile phones sold by F?

Correct Answer: 2 : 5


Solution : Number of mobile phones sold by C = 6% of total number
Number of mobile phones sold by F = 15% of total number
$\therefore$ Required ratio = 6 : 15 = 2 : 5
Hence, the correct answer is 2 : 5.
