Solution : Given,
The total runs scored by the batsman in all these five innings = 800
Runs scored in inning S = 31% of 800 $=\frac{31}{100}\times 800= 248$
Runs scored in inning U = 12% of 800 $=\frac{12}{100}\times800= 96$
⇒ Difference = 248 – 96 = 152
Hence, the correct answer is 152.
