The coordinates of $R(–a,–b)$ are reflected over the X-axis to $(–a, b)$.
But $(–a, b)$ $=(–4, 2)$
So, $a=4,b=2$
Thus point R (4, 2)
Hence, the correct answer is (4, 2).
