the ratio of population of two energy levels is 1.059 find the wavelength of light emitted by spontaneous emission at 330k

Dear Aspirant,
We know that, N2/N1= population ratio = 1.059*10^-30 & T=330K, similarly we are supposed to find lambda(wavelength)
Also,
N2/N1 = e^(-E/K*T)
Taking log on Both sides,
Log(N2/N1) = -E/K*T = [(-h*rho)/(K*T)]
rho = c/lambda
So, after rearranging we get,
Log (N2/N1) = {(-h*c)/(K) * (1/lambda*T)} after solving this through logarithmic functions, you will get the answer of lambda = 632.8mm
Kindly understand the answer by solving by your own too. Hope it helps you.
Thanks.
