Correct Answer: Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim only

Solution : The correct answer is Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim only.

The Snow Leopard serves as a health indicator for the mountain ecology. They are the mountain ecosystem's main predator. It is classified as Vulnerable in the IUCN Red List. They have a wide but dispersed distribution across central Asia's hilly geography, including sections of the Himalayas such as Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Sikkim. In 2009, Project Snow Leopard was established to foster an inclusive and participatory approach for the conservation of snow leopards and their habitat. It covers states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim in India.
Since 2014, the 23rd of October has been designated as International Snow Leopard Day.
