Sivani, there are 180 MCQs asked in NEET and the exam is conducted in pen and paper mode for a duration of 3 hours. Now the minimum qualifying percentile for General Category is 50 and it is 40 for OBC,SC,ST. Which means you need to score atleast 40/50 percentile of the to pNEET scores to be qualified in NEET. Every correct answer gets you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark. Now there are no optional questions. But you are free to skip questions of which you do not know the answer. A unwritten question doesn't have any impact on your score which means if you do not attempt a question, you will neither get marks or will have negative marking. Now coming to the best Medical Colleges, there are quite a few. AIIMS, AFMC, MAMC, VMCC, CMC Vellore, are few.
