There are two types of counselling for filing the seats of a collage that is via the Aiq and via the state quota ,so it depends on the the results of the counselling you are navigating as usually the rank mentioned is all india rank.
If you get the all india rank in the merit list you can easily guess the category rank by searching for the air vs category rank.
