Correct Answer: 100 m


Solution : Let the length of the ground be $l$ m.
Width = $w$ = 40 m (given)
$\frac{l}{w} = \frac{5}{2}$
⇒ $\frac{l}{40} = \frac{5}{2}$
⇒ $l = \frac{5\times 40}{2}$
$\therefore l = 100 $ m
Hence, the correct answer is 100 m.
