Correct Answer: Rs. 500

Solution : Given that the ratio of the prices of A and B is 5 : 9, and the prices of C and D are 24 : 13.
Let the prices of A, B, C, and D be $5x$, $9x$, $24y$, and $13y$ respectively.
So, $13y=1300$
⇒ $y=100$
So, the price of C $=$ $24y=\text{Rs.}\ 2400$
Price of B $=$ 2400 – 1500 $=$ 900
So, $9x = 900$
⇒ $x=100$
Price of A $=$ $5x = \text{Rs. } 500$
Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 500.
