Btech students are not eligible for kvpy exam .one should enrol in the first year undergraduate program in pure sciences namely physics \chemistry\mathematics \biology. Btech is an undergraduate course in technical studies . checkout the eligibility criteria for kvpy http://kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/eligibility.htm
