Solution : Given:
Two successive discounts of 12% and 15%
We know, Net discount = $(D_1+D_2-\frac{D_1D_2}{100})$%,
Where $D_1$ and $D_2$ are successive discounts respectively
⇒ Net discount = $[15 + 12 - \frac{15\times12}{100}]$%
= $[27 - \frac{18}{10}]$%
= $(27 - 1.8)$%
= $25.20$%
Hence, the correct answer is 25.2%.
