Aligarh Muslim University conducts an annual state level entrance exam for admission to AMU BA LLB course, and undergraduate program.

The exam is divided into 2 parts. The subject in paper is General English, Current Affair and General Knowledge( on legal issues) and Reasoning and Aptitude.

In general English the topics like reading comprehension, synonyms, grammar , vocabulary, antonyms etc.

In General knowledge/ current affairs topics like legal issues in India, eminent personalities, current affairs in india, awards etc.

In reasoning and aptitude topics like analogy, blood relations, series, critical reasoning etc.
