Correct Answer: Only I

Solution : I. The number of girls in year Y6 is 9 percent of the number of boys in year Y6.
The number of girls in year Y6 = 90
The number of girls in year Y6 = 100
$\therefore$ Percentage = $\frac{90}{100}\times100$ = 90%
⇒ Statement I is not correct.
II. The average number of boys in years Y1 and Y2 are 80.
Number of boys in year Y1 = 90
Number of boys in year Y2 = 70
$\therefore$ Average = $\frac{90+70}{2}=\frac{160}{2}=80$
⇒ Statement II is correct.
Hence, the correct answer is Only I.
