The temperature at 12 noon was 10 degree celsius above the zero. If it decreases at the rate of 2 c per hour until mid-night, at what time would the temperature be 8C below zero? What would be the temperature at mid-night?

It's a simple cross multiplication sum. If at 12 noon the temperature is 10 degrees Celsius above zero and it decreases at a rate of 2 degree Celsius per hour then it will be 8 degree Celsius BELOW zero at 9 pm. At midnight the temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius below zero.
