Before moving on to the thickness of interface layer let me tell you something about Interface layer- An interface layer on the C/C can enhance the bond between the C/C and the metal. The increase of the preform density causes increases in the electrical resistivity, flexural strength and tribological performance , but causes decrease in the impact toughness.

Now moving on to the thickness of Interface layer- The boundary layer thickness of polymer blend system was determined by the inter diffusion of polymer molecules, and concerned with phase compatibility, micro-phase separation extent, molecular weight and distribution.
