Correct Answer: 1 : 3

Solution : In Social Science, the total number of teachers is 40 and the percentage of female teachers is 75%.
The number of female teachers in Social Science = 75% of 40 = 30
The number of male teachers in Social Science = 40 – 30 = 10
The ratio of the number of male teachers to that of female teachers in Social science = 10 : 30 = 1 : 3
Hence, the correct answer is 1 : 3.
