Yes. You are absolutely eligible for NEET examination. This gap between your 10th and 12th doesn't matter. However you'll need to produce a gap certificate in order to present it to the college authorities during admission.
The eligibility criteria for NEET 2023 is as follows:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
- Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
- Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2023
- The upper age limit has been removed and anyone can apply for the medical entrance ex am
- The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2023 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45%
- There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit 2023.

The basic qualification for Neet exam is for General candidates 50% marks in HS science and 45%, for PWD candidates and 40%for obc, SC &ST candidate with physics chemistry,Mathematics.and English.It will make no difference whether the student have a gap periods of 2years or 3years.The marks of Neet exam is 720 .Candidates have to achieve 50percentile of marks for appearing in NEET UG counselling. The marks of 550+is treated as hopeful marks for chances in Government Medical colleges for a MBBS seat.

According to NTA there are some criteria that all the candidates needs to fulfill for NEET examination such as,
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 in science stream
- Candidates should have scored 50% marks in 12th to qualify for admissions
- Candidates should have completed age of 17 years minimum
- There is no upper age limit in NEET
If you fulfill above mentioned criteria then you can appear for NEET. Your gap between 10th standard and 12th standard does not matter as long as you have cleared 12th standard. If you have applied for NEET before then click on repeater or click on fresher if you are appearing for the first time.
