It should not be a major issue but it may cause some difficulties. However there is a simple to it, at the time of document verification you can carry a self attested affidavit claiming both the persons are same and it should be supported by relevant documents. It is the best possible and generally accepted solution. So the verification officer in all probability would understand your problem and do the needful.
Also do carry original copies of your's mother document as well which can be used for matching with the mentioned facts claimed in affidavit.

If the name does not change drastically and it is just a typo then pretty much the verification officers will figure it out, based on your other certificates which will have the correct name and you should face no issue. Even if there is any issues, a query will be raised to confirm the name but nothing concerning will occur.
