Different exams / colleges /Universities have different criterias.

For example, in jee mains earlier it used to be like you have to secure atleast 75% aggregate in physics , chemistry and maths. But due to the covid-19 pandemic this criteria has been changed and now you just have to pass your 12th.

In some of the state level examination or university examination you have to secure atleast 50% marks in physics chemistry maths. So,it depends which entrance are you giving for your engineering.
