There are three sections in CAT, namely:
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
Quantitative Ability

The CAT exam is generally for three hours for 100 marks having three sections Verbal ability,Data interpretation and logical reasoning,quantitative ability. The questions are in the form of Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs).

Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) - 32
Quantitative Ability (QA) - 34
The sections will appear in the same order as mentioned above
