This is my first time appearing AIIMS exam ,no chance of cracking it as I have done horrible in neet exam.Plz tell me what is the pattern of

Hi priya..even i'm appearing for AIIMS first time..don't panic...it won't be difficult to use the computer..as i've given online exams earlier..i can tell u that...just cool down because neet and aiims are different exams having different patterns...so..all the very best!!!!!!!

The AIIMS MBBS 2018 will have separate question paper for each of the four sessions but the pattern will be same. 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge as well as Aptitude and Logical Thinking will be asked. Each question will carry one mark and there will be negative marking of -1/3 mark for every incorrect answer. Candidates will be given three hours and thirty minutes to complete the examination which is generally conducted in an online mode in two shifts (morning shift and afternoon shift) on both the exam dates. The general standard of the questions asked in the exam will be that of Class 12 under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate (Science).

• AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2018 - Marking Scheme

As per the marking scheme mentioned in the AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2018, each question will consist of four multiple choice answers and candidates have to choose the most appropriate answer out of them. Mentioned below is the marking scheme for candidates reference.

Each correct answer will gain 1 mark.

Each incorrect response will be given - 1/3 (minus-one-third) marks.

No marks will be given for the questions not answered or marked for review.

• Language of AIIMS MBBS 2018 Question Paper

The medium of the test as specified by the exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2018 is English or Hindi. Candidates appearing in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be provided the question paper in English or in Hindi according to their choice. Applicants must make sure that they choose or indicate whether they prefer to have the question paper in English or Hindi while filling the application form. This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.
