Such type of dillema often comes in our minds, what to do next. Firstly you don't need to be pessimist, be positive. The best thing to overcome this is you have to self actualize what you really want. If you really want a docter so keep going and try for next time. Beside this you can take admission in any course in this year and now you have got the idea how to prepare, strategy for the NEET. This time you knows your flaws/ mistakes, weaknesses by which you can't score well. For next attempt overcome all this, and prepare well that you can surely score well.
At last it's up to you what you really want. Don't hurry, take your time.
Hope this helps!!
All the best..
I've seen aspirants giving up on their Medical aspiration after first Attempt itself as well as Students securing 600+ and securing Colleges like KGMU in the 4th Attempt. The Call is for you to take ideally. Assuming youre from General Category, Incase youre above the 400-500/720 Score this Year, you might just take a Drop, incase youre dead interested in pursuing Medical in someof the Government or State Medical Colleges. Ofcourse, incase youre from certain Category subtract the Score limit by atleast 100-200, depending on Trends of your Category Cutoffs.
Incase youre still below 350-400 even after your 2nd Attempt, I dont think you should think of another drop. Maybe you can go for Dental or B.Sc in Relevant Discipline. You'll hence have a lot of Options open for you including Teaching & Academia, Research, Computer Applications/Jobs as well as pursuing Government Services. Not a Bad idea any way.
Your choice to take, take it wisely but should satisfy you. You shouldnt ever repent on the choices you make.
Hey!
Whether or not you should give NEET exam again totally depends on you and what you wish to pursue. If you really want to make medical as your career, if you're really passionate about being in this field, go for it. Don't get negative about a particular outcome. Start with a positive attitude. Look at your mistakes and analyse it carefully. Having a positive approach is an important aspect of preparing and qualifying any exam. Be super dedicated and prepare it with all honesty.
In case, you don't want to choose this career path, look for other alternatives. There are various courses offered in science field and other as well. Look them up and decide. Afterall it's you who will be doing it.
All the best!
