As you may be knowing that the Assam CEE counseling will be on June before jEE counselling.
Now as you have secured 168 marks(483 rank in general category), so you do have chances to get CSE in JEC.
Also, you can even get a seat in AEC, however your chances are a bit low there but there is some probability too.
But ofcurse you will be able to make it to JEC.
So, I would advice you to go for the counseling process and look for the branch and college which suits you accordingly.

Bt this tym i guess all the student above me wl cm as it is bfre jee counseling. Hw mch wil it affect. Still i hv a chance?

Hope you are doing well!! And congratulations on securing a very good rank in CEE exam. As ASTU have provided the merit list and the counseling will be starting from 10th of june. Regarding your query you can get Assam Engineering college (AEC) even Jorhat engineering college (JEC). And as you have said you want persue computer science engineering in Jorhat Engineering college (JEC) then there is no worries your rank is good enough to get you into this college with your preferable branch. Bt this tym its bfre jee counselling.. So i guess all the students above me will attend cee counseling so hw mch it wil affect . Still i hv a chance?
Yes you do have chances, see even if CEE counselling is before JEE counseling, the students who have cleared the JEE mains they will wait for jee mains counseling but no worries you have secured a good rank and you will get your college with preferable branch.

Sry BT u r wrong right nw I m on cee counselling and upto 100 rank aec cse sits r filled and my chances of getting cse in jec also became very less.. I don't what will happen bt I m vry tensed..
How it cam be in AEC there is 420 seats and upto 100 rank seats will be not filled and so called your preferable college you want to take admission in JEC and you will get it.
Seats are hlved fr unreserved candidates and nt all seats r filled in aec. Cse and mech are filled and electronic nd electrical r ab8 to fill
