this was a honable request why would automobiles are not eligible for SSC Je exams I observe the syllabus of mechanicals in SSC Je exams that topics are also related to automobiles like ic engine/ lubrication and thermodynamics properties etc.. a sincere request for give answer for this.. hi,
see ssc junior engineer has vacancy for diploma in mechanical, civil or electrical branch. you may find similarity and knowledge of mechanical syllabus, but you are not eligible to apply if you dont belongs to any of the similar branch or any combinational branch like, electrical and electronics engineer can apply for electrical branch. hope you may understand.

I am an already a student of automobile engineering that's why I asked the quest. I saw the syllabus of SSC Je for mechanical all of the topics are covered in this branch also but my doubt is why would we are not eligible.? Thank you so much for responding.. 😊
