All this while, Maharashtra had 70-3- Regional and State reservations. The State Quota seats were filled divided into 70% Regional quota and 30% State Quota. The 70% Regional quota seats were reserved for Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. And the Constitutional quota of Maharashtra was for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D and OBC. NT-B falls under OBC Category. Now this has been quashed and it is one Maharashtra one reservation. This is going to considerably increase the cut offs as the no.of Candidates vying for each seat would increase. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But we can expect atleast a difference or an increase of cut offs by 50 marks atleast.
