There are chances of fluctuations in trends as if we have two examination then many times there are many students who appear for one exam and don't apply for the another as a result the competition decreases by a few percentage. Also every year the paper difficulty level changes. Now depending on this year paper standards and the average preparation strength of the students, the cutoffs as well as ranks may shift.
So this are probable and you should be ready for the fluctuations. Usually, these kind of trend shifts occurs only in the top students i.e., the first 10% of the student and after that the shift remains consistent. So lets see what happens.
