Correct Answer: Rs. 12,000
Solution : Let the total consignment be 4 units. ⇒ Total profit $=\frac{3 × 8\% - 1 × 4\%}{4}=\frac{20\%}{4}=5\%$ According to the question, 5% of the total = Rs. 600 $\therefore$ Value of the consignment = 100% of the total = $\frac{600×100}{5}$ = Rs. 12000 Hence, the correct answer is Rs. 12,000.
