Tita question in snap How to go about it!
Hi Parekh,
TITA questions or Type in the Answer questions are the special questions introduced in SNAP for the first time this year. Since CAT TITA questions do not involve negative marking, one thing the candidates can be sure of is that they would not lose marks even if they do not answer such questions accurately.
These special questions or non MCQ questions will be along the same lines as TITA questions in CAT. For eg: if you are asked what is the capital of Australia? You will type in 'C-A-N-B-E-R-R-A' using the virtual keyboard on the screen.
For preparation strategies, I am providing you a link on how to go about TITA questions. I believe it will be quite helpful in preparing for TITA. Have a look - How to tackle TITA questions
Goodluck!!

Symbiosis has introduced TITA (Type in the Answer) questions from this year only. SNAP 2018 exam will have four sections and each section will carry 5 special or TITA questions. Solving TITA questions especially in Quant, DI, and Reasoning portion can be a time-taking task and practising questions from each of these sections is the best policy. Solve as much as mock test papers dedicated to these sections before the exam and make sure you get your answers analysed by an expert. Using this method, you will be able to analyse your performance and strategies accordingly.
For TITA question, guessing an answer is not going to work. There are no options to choose from. If you know the answer, you know it and if you don't, you don't.
Also, try solving the TITA questions in the end as they might consume a lot of time. You might find TITA questions from certain topics in each section like -
- VARC – Parajumbles, Summary, Odd Sentence Out
- DI & LR – Tables, Arrangements and Venn Diagrams
- QA – Arithmetic, Algebra, Numbers
