Hello
For admissions to NITs / IIITs / GFTIs :
- Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
- For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
For admissions to B.Arch. programmes:
- Candidates need to have PCM mandatorily in their 10+2 or equivalent exam.
- They need to have secured minimum 50% marks in these subjects in aggregate and 50% individually too.
Good luck I hope this helps you
You need 75% aggregate, There is no criterion for individual subjects. Choices of subjects has certain condions
1Mathematics and Physics are compulsory.
2.Anyone of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Botany.
3. There should be at least one language.
4. Subject having maximum marks in the rest of the subjects.
So there are in total five subjects are counted for calculation of 75% in JEE.
For CBSE it is 75% aggregate in all subjects
For other boards you should be in top 20 percentile
According to my knowledge only aggregate marks is there in the eligibility criteria
For SC/ST candidates,it is 65%.
Here, only aggregate matters and marks of individual subjects do not.
