Hello

The eligibility criteria for admission in AFMC -

(Score basis)

Minimum marks: Candidate must have passed all the subjects opted for in the first attempt of the qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these three science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects.

Candidate must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard.

However, you should try to get 75-80% result so as to maintain the result level for admission in AFMC. Hope you're getting my point.!

Whereas, for NEET- your score should be minimum 575+ if you want to take admission in AFMC. Every year the cutoff changes and for AFMC especially it keeps on increasing and so to be on the safe side you need to keep high target so that atleast you can score near to it or even more which can get you admission there.

The competition level is quite high as the intake is 130 out of which 105 seats are reserved for boys and 25 seats for girls. There are other 10 seats reserved for SC/ST candidates.

You can have a look at previous years cutoffs-

2018- Girls: 600  Boys: 570

2017- Girls: 536  Boys: 498

2016- Girls: 537  Boys: 478

The cutoff varies every year for both boys and girls and there will be no category-wise  cutoff released for different categories. The AFMC MBBS cutoff will be announced by the authority only after the declaration of NEET cutoff-2019.

AFMC MBBS result/merit list 2019 - The authority will publish the AFMC MBBS result or merit list containing the candidates NEET roll numbers in the leading newspaper and on the website. Candidates those- roll number will appear in the merit will only be called for the admission procedure. (No call letters will be sent individually to any candidate).

The final merit list will be released in the month of August 2019. On the basis of result, a separate merit will be prepared category-wise.

--There is a separate registration for admission in AFMC. Candidates have to register on the AFMC official website to participate in the selection process. The counseling schedule will be uploaded along with the list of selected candidates on the website in the second week of July 2019.

The NEET Roll No. of the candidates those will shortlist for the screening at AFMC, Pune based on merit will be displayed on the website. The admission will be offered on the basis of NEET score and AFMC screening test.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
