To do PhD in computer science for which we have to attempt either CSIR net or UGC net

Hello Sunanda,

To do PhD in Computer Science, you have to apply for UGC NET exam. NTA conducts the NET exam in 84 subjects and Computer Science is one of them.

As per the exam guidelines, candidates can apply for the exam with their post-graduation subject or related to that. So, to appear with Computer Science, you have it as a subject in master’s degree.

If you want to apply for UGC NET exam, then there is an outstanding opportunity for you. Recently NTA has released the notification for UGC NET Dec 2019 exam.

According to that the UGC NET 2019 Application Form will be started to fill from 9th September 2019 and ended up on 9th October 2019.

The exam for December 2019 will be held from 2 nd to 6 th December 2019.

Before applying for the make sure you fulfill all eligibility criteria.
