For getting a rank of around 4000 in JEE mains, you need to score between 210-230 in JEE mians paper 1 and your percentile should be between 99.5 -100 percentile.

Actually the marks vs rank and marks vs percentile vary ever in JEE Mains due to various factors such as varying difficulty and competition.

On a rough note, you must aim for a score of 250 above, only then you will be able to get a score above 200 and then your rank would be under 4000.

The corresponding percentile would be around 99.84-99.88.
