All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducs AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for AIIMS MBBS admission. Admission process is not done through NEET.

Candidates belonging to General category will have to secure a minimum of 50% marks to qualify in AIIMS examination, while a candidate belonging to SC/ST category have to secure minimum of 40% and minimum 45% marks for OBC category.

I can't tell you the exact marks for the selection in AIIMS DELHI but according to my best knowledge the marks ranges are-

• General candidates - 140+
• OBC-125+
• SC-110+
• ST-100+

Above marks are only assumptions made from the previous years cutoffs.

Cutoffs mainly deepens on the difficulty level of the AIIMS PAPER.

Neet ug is the entrance exam conducted for admission to mbbs course in various medical colleges of india EXCLUDING Aiims and Jipmer..

Neet ug also serve the basis for admission to bds,bams,bhms,bums and bvsc seats..

To get admission into any of the sister institutions of AIIMS or AIIMS Delhi, you need to appear for a separate entrance examination (AIIMS-UG ENTRANCE) which is generally conducted in the last week of may or first week of june every year.

Apart from preparing for your regular subjects (which are physics, chemistry and biology) you are also required to prepare well for assertion and reasoning and general knowledge, since they carry a very significant weightage.

• National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2018 (NEET UG) is conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS programs in all colleges in India except AIIMS and JIPMER.

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences is conducting AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2018 for AIIMS MBBS admission 2018.

• AIIMS 2018 is the only medical entrance exam whose scores are accepted for admission to AIIMS New Delhi and 8 other AIIMS like institutions namely at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Jodhpur, Nagpur (Maharashtra), Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh.

• According to the information brochure of AIIMS MBBS 2017, candidates belonging to General category will have to secure a minimum of 50% marks to qualify in AIIMS MBBS 2018, while a candidate belonging to SC/ST category have to obtain a minimum of 40% and candidates belonging to OBC category have to score at least 45% marks.

• The AIIMS entrance exam consists of 200 questions and though they do not reveal the score of their candidates, you must focus on a score of 170 to secure a seat in one of the colleges.

To get admission in AIIMS, you need to clear AIIMS entrance exam and get a good rank at all India level.

You don't get a seat in AIIMS through NEET. AIIMS organizes a separate entrance exam known as AIIMS UG Entrance Test. You need to qualify that and then a merit will be prepared according to your results.
