Yes, it's compulsory. Admission will be based on percentage in 12th and score in entrance exams such as NATA or JEE Main. No candidate with less than 50% marks in aggregate shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level or 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks or International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. Pass in NATA exam I. e 80 marks out of 200.

No you can join in private collages without giving any entrance exam.

Hi Akash !

Yes it is to give compulsory to take the admission in B Arch , either Jee Main paper 2 or NATA.

Without taking these exams you will not get admission for B Arch.

Hello Akash,

No, its not strictly needed to give entrance . There are many private  colleges in India which gives direct admission in b. Arch or any course you want.

But IITs , NITs accept only  NATA and jee mains score for admission in B.arch.

Majority of the colleges give admission on the basis of emtrance test. Besides there are colleges which give admission through donation.
