The CBSE exams that have been scheduled for July 1st to 5th have been cancelled as per CBSE's decision. The same has been conveyed to the Supreme Court as well. Students have an option to appear in the examination only if they wish to. But if they do not wish to appear for the examination, then their performance in the last 2 examinations will be considered to grant them marks. This option is available only for CBSE 12th students and not for Class 10 Students. The details of assessment for those students who do not want to appear for the exam will be published by July the 15th. And for those Candidates who want to talk the test, the exam dates will be announced when the atmosphere is good enough. ICSE also will follow the same rules.

Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled all the remaining exams of Class 10 and 12 that was scheduled to be conducted from July 1 to 15, 2020. The pending exams have been cancelled due to increment in COVID Cases. Adding to this, the authority has also announced that the students will have an option to appear in the examination if they want to.
