Hello Madhu,

On analyzing the 2017 EAMCET marks it has found that students that have scored 140 and more marks got ranks under 50. Students scored marks 136-140 range have got ranks under 100 so as 120 and more marks got up-to 500 ranks and 110 and more marks scorers have got ranks up-to 100. Students on scoring more than 90 marks in EAMCET have got ranks under 10,000.

In connection with the above analysis, a student on scoring more than 80 marks (means more than 50% marks) will get a rank under 10,000. Hence chances are more for grabbing a seat in a good and reputed college.

It might have changed a little over the years but this is the rough estimate and will help you get a rough idea.

Good luck!

Hello Mam

No worries 90 marks is really a good score, a safe side score... your son will definitely get a rank between 6k-7k.

During counselling, do not go with the reputation of the college but the stream in which he wants to study as it will only matter at the end.
