Dear Student ,

You can give JEE Mains 6 times , 2 times a year and can give JEE Advance 2 times . Now you have got NIT in 2nd attempt and want to give JEE Mains a one more time .

You can surely give JEE Mains , but if you get an NIT again then they will not take you in 2nd year .They will take you in 1st year as a fresher to that NIT . Also you will loose your 1 year .

In my viewpoint now you have got admitted into an NIT , so you should not give JEE Mains next year . It will also make you a year backward . So carry on with the current NIT you are in.

Hope it helps .
