hello dear..

As per JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, aspiring candidates need to either secure at least 75% aggregate marks (for Gen Category) in the class XII (or equivalent)and 65% aggregate marks (for SC, ST and PwD candidates) or they should be in category-wise top 20-percentile in their respective class XII (or equivalent) board examination. This means that in order to be eligible for IIT admissions through JEE Advanced , the candidates need to fulfil either of the two eligibility requirements. Even if you are not among those who are able to score 75% aggregate marks in class 12 th examination, you still have the admission opportunity based on top 20 percentile of class 12 th board. However, you may wonder how much marks should one secure in class 12 th board in order to be eligible for IIT admissions. Thus, for the sake of helping aspirants in knowing how much marks they need to score in their respective class 12 th board, Careers360 brings to you category-wise top 20 percentile of class 12 th board exam (of 2017 and 2016) for admission into IITs. Check the top 20 percentile and gear up to score the required..

Best of luck..
