In order to take admission you should appear for JEE (Main+ ADvanced) exam to take admission in NITs and IITs. In order to be eligible make sure you should have 75% marks in boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For SC/SC you should have 65% marks.
You can also appear in your state level entrance exam to take admission in your state level government colleges.
Top Private colleges like VIT, SRM, Manipal and Amrita takes their own entrance exam to provide admission.
