Its worth noting that for some reason in engineering section Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham , Coimbatore is missing in the Engineering Category .It appears in Universities and overall section but not in engineering .Dont know Why .But if it did it most certainly be ranked in top 10 of the above list .

Keep on look for the Rank list that Anna university will release for its Constituent Colleges. It will be useful if you are looking to get into good Engineering Colleges solely based on State Board marks .

Get to know about about reputation of colleges from word of mouth and dont believe rankings from unscrupulous agencies/websites .Take one step ahead and go visit the college directly to clear your doubts about infrastructure etc .

Even in the above MHRD Rankings I personally have no knowledge about the quality of certain instituitions like Kongu , Rangasamy , Saveetha , Kumaraguru .Top 10 including Amrita are solid for sure .
