Hi,
All the top universities across India select the student based in the Entrance Examination. Though they have few eligibility criteria on the marks scored in 12th and 10th majorly they choose the candidates who perform well in the entrance.
Even though if you are from some other educational background other than CBSE you have a lot chance to get through the entrance if you are prepared and perform well in the entrance examination for the respective universities.
So, Be confident and attend the entrance.
All the best.
Thankyou.
Hi Rajesh,
It is not at all necessary to study in CBSE board affiliated schools to get admission in top universities. Some of the state universities give preference to the home or state board students as they decrease some marks of CBSE students and then admit them.
Some central universities also do this, but if we talk of top universities, than your board matters the least.
Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
