6. Optics - Reflection of light , scattering of light, optical instrument, wave optics

7. Dual nature of matter and radiation - Photoelectric effect, particle nature of light, matter waves.

8. Atoms and nuclei - Alpha, composition and size of nucleus

9. Electronic device - semiconductor, junction transistor

10. Communication system - elements of communication system, propagation of electromagnetic waves in atmosphere.

For Chemistry

1.Solid state - Classification of solids ,calculation of density of cell, electrical and magnetic properties

2. Solutions - Types of solutions , depression of freezing point, abnormal molecular mass

3. Electrochemistry - Redox reaction, lead accumulator, Kohlrausch's law

4. Chemical kinetics - Rate of a equation, rate law and specific rate constant

5. Surface Chemistry - Adsorption, colloidal state, properties of colloids, emulsion- types of emulsion

6. General Principles and isolation of elements - Concentration, occurence and principle of extraction of aluminium

7. P- block elements - group 15,16,17 and 18 elements

8. D and f- block elements - Lanthanoids and actanoids

9. Coordination compounds - coordination number,bonding

10. Haloalkanes and Haloarenes - Haloalkanes and Haloarenes,use and environmental effects of dichloromethane, freons , DDT

11. Alcohol,phenols and ether - nomenclature, physical and chemical properties

12. Aldehyde,ketones and carboxylic acids - nomenclature, method of preparation

13. Organic compounds containing nitrogen - Amines, cyanides, isocyanides, diazonium salts.

All these topics from respective chapter have been reduced to make syllabus more concise and clear for students.
