Every Government Medical College has a seat contribution of 15% to All India Counselling. GMC Amritsar has an annual intake of 250 wherein 50 seats are for EWS Category, 30 seats for All India Counselling and the rest for State Counselling. After Round 1, 5 seats have been allotted for GMC Amritsar under All India Counselling and 48 at State Counselling.
