I do see that you belong to the State of Telangana. The State Government has various initiatives for Candidates who belong to Economically weaker sections. If you belong to General Category and your annual household income is less than 8 lakhs per annum, you can opt for EWS reservation, If you belong to OBC and non creamy layer, you can also opt for OBC-NCL reservation which is 27%. SC/ST also has reservations of 15% and 7.5% respectively. Also there is 33% reservation for female Candidates in Telangana State Counselling for 85% of the Government Medical Colleges and Private Medical Colleges. You need not settle for less when you have these many benefits that you can avail. We do understand that every profession is dignified in its own manner but you can avail merit based scholarships and need based scholarships and continue to study what you want to. If you want to study MBBS, you should do that and not settle for BDS because of your financial situation. Decide what you would like to do first and then also check for relevant scholarships you can avail.
