Hello, TS EAMCET exam is for colleges based on Telangana state and Jee mains is for admission to get colleges like Nit,IIIT, Gfti and if you want to give Jee advance first you have to give Jee mains.
In my opinion Jee mains is a tougher exam and a must giving exam if you want to take admission in IIT, Nit, IIIT, gfti
For both exams counseling are done through which admission is done
Also some other states government and private colleges also accepts Jee mains marks for admission

Both of these exams are for the entrance in the engineering colleges. However, JEE main is a national level exam and therefore has a higher degree of competition. If you prepare for JEE main and advanced then you can prepare for EAMCET without much extra effort.
