Hello,

As you have told that the two conductors are connected in parallel connection you mean that the conductors are connected parallel which means the effective resistance of the combination decreases as they have been conducted in parallel.We already know that the resistivity is inverse of the conductivity,hence according to this the effective conductance increases in the case which you have mentioned.Hope this has cleared your doubt.Thank You.
