Hello,

We know that, for Simple Harmonic Motion,

Velocity at mean position =Vmax = A.ω, where, ω = 2π / T

So, p = A.2π / T1   ( Since, A1 = A2 = A )

and q = A.2π / T2

So, p / q = T2 /T1

So, p / q = 6 / 3

So, p / q = 2 /1

Hence, the ratios of velocities p and q is 2 : 1
