Relative distance = Relative speed × Time
According to the question,
Time taken by the trains to meet = $\frac{120}{60-50}$ = 12 hr
Total distance from A to B = distance covered by slower train + distance covered by faster train
= $(12 × 50) + (12 × 60)$
= $600 + 720$
= $1320$ km
