Candidates who get through Written Test and SSB should also clear Medicals to finally get inside National Defense Academy.

The course at NDA is THREE years. And the fourth year will be at respective academies.

Upon arrival at NDA, the following amounts have to be deposited.

(a) Pocket allowance for five months @ Rs. 3000.00 per month. Rs. 15000.00

(b) For items of clothing and equipment Rs. 21831.00

(c) Army Group Insurace Fund Rs. 7200.00

(d) Clothing items required at the time of joining Rs. 8681.00

(e) Incidental Expenditure during 1st Semester Rs. 7138.00

Total Rs. 59850.00

Only pocket money and incidental expenditure are recurring expenses.

There is NO fees for academics, accommodation, training and mess.
